Dunhill is arguably the most highly regarded pipe house in the world. All components of the pipe are still hand made in London and tailored to the individual pipe as they craft them. They are credited with multiple innovations that changed pipe production forever, most notably the sandblast finish which has been widely adopted.
The Chestnut finish was introduced in 1983 to commemorate a transitional stage when the Cumberland Road warehouse closed. The Chestnut finish reinvents the Cumberland finish re-purposing it's brindled stem and stain on a smooth reincarnation.
