S.T. Dupont specially formulates their flints for their lighters, so it is important to know which model you have and what flint is correct for it.  Our guide above can help you identify which flints are best for your lighter.  Substituting other brands of flints is not recommended.  For example, Zippo flints will fit but are a much harder grade and will likely only spark in a Dupont with great force.  That defeats Dupont's smooth engineering and could damage your lighter.
