Specially selected red Virginias from the old belt and ripe, bright Virginias, blended with Louisiana perique and pressed into flakes, build up this masterpiece of tobacco blending. The Virginias provide a profile of tart and tangy citrus, hay/grass, and a light floral honey sweetness. The earthy, woody perique has a rather forward spice along with some dried fig/plum/raisin notes that provide a perfect support to the Virginias.
